Adding a 'countdown timer'
Reviewed, UrgentPublic

Description

Potentially adding a 10-15 second timer to the option 'restart' after the player has been knocked.

Example.

Player 1 knocks out Player 2 in a gun fight. Player 2 instantly goes into their menu and presses 'restart' which causes Player 1 to be cheated out of a kill.

This is a problem on all private servers and causes a lot of upset. If there was a timer in which Player 2 had to wait in order to 'restart' then it could prevent this situation from happening.

It is known as 'quick restarting' amongst players and has been a issue for a long time, a short timer that could even be edited within the files (private server) could keep all parties happy. Some servers may choose not to have it while others could choose the length of their 'restart timer'

Steps To Reproduce

Being knocked out by a player and pressing your menu as fast as you can and 'restarting' thus causing upset to the player that technically killed the knocked player.

Additional Information

Many private servers have their own 'Killfeed bot' and it shows up as 'Player 2 died' with no other information regarding how they died. A timer could give the 'killer' a chance to finish him off without losing their kill.

Far better to just count the KO logout as a kill in the killfeed logs, that way all other players wouldn't be annoyed and inconvenienced at all other times having to wait to restart.
