I lit a fire barrel inside a shack. When I left, suddenly the outside area seemed illuminated as I was leaving the building, with door open. Turning around to face the building/barrel, the lighting disappeared. Here is video : https://youtu.be/xdKvJakpl3A

this has been in the game a long time. it is annoying though. happens with any fire source. when you look away the whole area lights up but looking at the fire creates no surrounding light.
