Currently Reforger has built-in support for only squad callsigns (e.g. Alpha Red-1), and not command hierarchy (e.g. 1st Squad, 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, or 1-2-A).
My experience with the ArmA franchise and other military shooters is that command hierarchies make it easier to kick start player organization and division of tasks and responsibilities. Without them, callsigns usually reinforce independent and uncoordinated action, creating an environment where it is difficult for players to take charge and delegate to others.
The request is in three parts:
- Add support for a single Platoon commander unit to the Groups tab in the Player menu. If such a unit already exists in the faction, then no more commander units can be created.
- Add the command hierarchy to the Groups tab in the Player menu
- Add unit naming conventions to the Groups tab in the Player menu

The desired effect is that players immediately understand that there should be a command structure upon joining the server, thus priming them to accept a chain of command, and those seeking to take charge can refer to this structure to delegate responsibilities.
