A problem that has persisted throughout the ArmA franchise is the player inertia regarding voting and lack of confidence in the multiplayer voting system.

My observation is that many players don't understand the rules and value of voting, and/or don't know how to vote. This results in GMs/admins not voted in and players not kicked when this is needed the most.

The request is for BI to educate players on the hows and whys of voting to encourage widespread participation. This should be done through the in-game tutorials, web instructions, and promotional videos.

Key questions to address:

• What is voting used for and for which game modes?
• What controls do I press and what menus do I access to vote (on PC and console)?
• What is the voting process?
• What is the criteria for a successful vote?
• Why should I vote?
