The person I play with will enter the combination for the lock and open the gate, but for me the lock will appear still on the post of the gate and I will be unable to pick up the lock to place it on the gate myself.

Steps To Reproduce
player 1 enters combo (typically 4 dial lock), gate opens. Player 1 sees lock on ground. player 2 sees lock on fence post. player 2 given options to take or take to hands, but nothing happens when attempting to do those options. Player 1 has to come back, pick up lock and lock gate.

This is a huge problem as Player 2 can also see the code on the bugged codelock (that still looks to be attached to the gate for Player 2). This way, codes can easily be compromised without Player 1 knowing

here is a video abut the bug: my friend opened the 2 gates. For me the code locks were bugged and can be seen to appear still attached to the gate. I can see the correct code on them.
In the end my friend picks up the lock and drops it again, but i still see it attached to the wooden log. It's on a server without mods and i have been right around the castle tower when he opened the gates.

This problem is still happening in 1.20 on servers without mods
The lock is bugged & visible on the gate for some people, even tho one person took it off - so players can secretly read the code without the base-owner knowing

This is still regularly happening on patch 1.23
Roughly every 4th time my husband opens a codelock it buggs it. Even when I stand right next to him.
"Take to Hands"-prompt doesnt work so I cannot lock the gate, only he can.
