I played for 12 fucking hours straight only to have my character just start losing blood for no fucking reason. No cuts can’t bandage and I lost all of my progress. I swear to god your fucking developers must fucking hate the Dayz players and community. What’s the fucking reason? You guys drop a fucking gas bomb right on top of me? Exactly at the 12 hour mark. I’m sick 90 fucking percent of the time I’m playing the game. No fucking loot behind closed doors. Game is absolute fucking garbage. What other antibiotics are there besides the tetracycline???? I was using them and still losing blood. What a fucking joke. Un fucking real.

Coincidentally the gas bomb thing happened to my friend too lol we were next to each but he got sick & I didn't we couldn't figure out how that happened but it's pretty much a quick death without the antidote the effects should def be adjusted

Why would anyone expect antibiotics to stop blood loss?
Fill a blood bag with your own blood as soon as you can while healthy, carry at all times, convert it into intravenous and then you can do a transfusion to recover from gas poisoning too.
At least you had an exciting death... could've been silent sniped in the head from behind XD

I'm pretty sure it damages your health at the same time but I don't think you'd have the time to transfuse & bandage from the cuts constantly appearing

obviously you get out of the gas first, then bandage any cuts, then if/when you get sick do the transfusion

Lol the mechanic is weird we're next to each other between 1-9m we hear the noise leave at the same he gets infected I don't. The little military spot is still visible from where we are in the woods about 20-35m away which is where he died he had enough time to patch up once fully & maybe halfway through the 2nd time before he became unconscious I go to resuscitate him & died before I could get him back. The transfusion won't help & you'll be dead without using an antidote first. You vomit blood & cuts constantly appear. The vomit animation cancels actions so the transfusion would be pointless

^^ same. Two of us in tents at south side of Tisy military. Bomb comes in and we both scarper out south. I get sick, he doesn't but we both had 2 cuts. I had blood bag previously collected but no transfusion kit. So we sprint down to the little med centre below Sinystok about 2km away, with me stopping to be sick all the way, in the hope of finding one. No joy, so i logged out while another friend bought one up. Logged back in on edge of death, dropped blood bag, he made the kit up and gave me transfusion and i was good as new in minutes.
Basically, you do get a quite a bit of time from when sickness hits, especially if you have enough food and fluids to top up what you lose vomiting blood ;)
