The feature request is in three parts:
- To allow viewing the workshop by scrollable detailed lists, and allow sorting by attributes, like in a file manager. E.g. Mod Name, Mod Author, Mod Size, Additional Dependencies (Yes/No)
- To enable the selection of mods for batch actions, through checkboxes beside each mod in the list E.g. Item Check Boxes feature in Windows Explorer
- To ensure that selected mods for batch actions can be viewed in a separate mod list which will provide the function to perform batch actions, E.g. download, update, enable, disable, remove, report
This accomplishes three things:
- Users are able to view more mods with key metadata within the same screen space, allowing them to make better informed decisions when viewing the workshop.
- Users will no longer have to enter each mod page to trigger individual actions, saving them a great amount of load time and frustration if they want to apply the same action to multiple mods.
- Users will not have to worry about having to scroll through the main mod list to identify previously selected mods E.g. If a great amount of mods are selected, the main mod list is sorted by alphabetical order, and mod names start with 'C' and 'V'.
