Depending on time of day and amount of daylight a player's decisions for where to spawn/deploy may change.
However as time is not indicated in Reforger's spawn maps, there is no way for people newly joining a multiplayer server to know whether they will be spawning in daylight or nighttime.
I think there are two ways to remedy this:
- Add a digital 24-hour clock (with date-time to account for different seasons) to the spawn map interface so players will need to use precise data to determine daylight or nighttime.
- Implement the same nighttime flashlight approach used in the normal map so players immediately know when selecting spawn points whether they will be starting in the dark or not, with the option to toggle the watch so players know time left to dawn or dusk.
Implementing one or both should be satisfactory.
