Description

This is a form to report an issue from the PC VERSION of the game . Error code 9. Connection failed issue

Recently i downloaded dayz again and i want to play it with my friends, but i can not join any modded or any official server's for reason i don't know.

When i was trying to join of any server , i keep getting Error code 9 (connection failed).I tried every method or every solution's, i saw at forums , threads, nothing changed so far. I re-install DayZ 4 times and i verificate my files over and over again , i tried open a new port on my router, i did but it is not working at all . And maybe it can help to figure it out for you:

When i was open the DayZ , at character select screen , play button shows a same server every time and that server is closed long time ago. And my character is also same profile and its not resetting or i can not delete that, even if i do re-install game every time. Its seems stuck on that server or maybe files or something like that , it is crazy but it seems like it is. So any stuff member can help me to play the dayz?

Steps To Reproduce

I open the game
When i getting server loading screen it is moving my screen to character screen. There is a same character shows up everytime. ( Even if i re-install the game )
And there i am getting error code 9 always.
It says connection failed.
And at the play button , it shows always same server the i played long time ago and that server is closed.
That is the my PROBLEM.

Hello Jesiise.
This error occurs when something on your computer or network blocks DayZ.
This could be the firewall, network settings, your network provider and similar (unfortunately we cannot pinpoint what exactly causes this problem in your case).
As for the menu character, the menu character showing the old character is just related to persistent data stored in C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ, clearing this folder will clear the characters that appear in the main menu (this will not clear the characters from the servers they are stored on though).

Its not about my firewall or net settings , this is about your game and your cloud i am sure about that . You guys should reset my data or smth else if it happens again i will change my pc and my connection. There is no other games doing any error kinda like this. It is not about me please do something .

And now i get new account and bought dayz with same pc its says again Connection Failed lol. Dunno wth is this error but i really need help .

And i am mad because you guys have no idea with solve this problem , ppl's are trying to find solution about this Error Code 9 , and you really not have any idea , and i am trying to fix it at 2 weeks , i re-install the game 7 times total . HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
