I can turn a handheld transceiver on (87.8) and drop it next to a PAS (also switched on 87.8).
I can then, equipped with another handheld transceiver (switched on 87.8), speak and have my voice heard back though both the dropped transceiver and the PAS..
However, when I move away from the PAS, the relayed transmission stops. The PAS I'm testing this with is at the Cherno PD. This is on the 3rd floor and the point at which I get to, where the relayed transmission stops, seems to vary. Sometimes it is as close as the 3rd floor room door and the furthest I've got to is just inside the main ground floor doors.
Having this fixed such that the maximum range of the handheld could be used to broadcast to the handheld next to the PAS, would mean it would be possible to speak over the entire PAS system from anywhere within the handlheld to handheld range.

Once sound has stopped being relayed (see Description above), I can walk back to the PAS and it will start to pick up my transmission again (normally I have to be at least in the same room as the PAS for it to start relaying again). At this point I can simply repeat the test over and over. The only thing that changes is the point at which I get to before the relay stops.
I would eventually like to test setting up field transceivers to relay the broadcast even further with the ultimate goal of being able to broadcast to every PAS facilitated town and city across Zagorie from literally any point on the map.
I am presently testing on a dedicated server running a few mods so I am aware that the issue may not exist on official vanilla servers. I will look to test this out on official as soon as possible. My apologies if this does actually work on 'Official' already and for any time lost looking at this report.
Fixing this issue (if indeed it exists on official) will potentially provide a facility for players to broadcast across Zagorie!
