Steps To Reproduce
Quickslot an item in your inventory and place it into your hand.
Drop the item to the ground. (with your inventory closed)
Open inventory, pickup the item from the ground and place into your hands or in your clothes/backpack.
The quickslot icon does not update. (Until you refresh inventory or relocate the item a second time)
Unsure if reproducibility of this bug is dependent on some other bug / character state, as after relogging, the issue was resolved and I could no longer reproduce it.

Noticed in 1.16 Experimental.
I found a few simple workarounds. If you simply close and reopen the inventory it updates the icon. Also, if you move the item a second time, it seems to update as well.
