Description

"Warning (0x0004000F0) You were kicked off the game. BattlEye (Client not responding)"

Greetings! I've had this issue since I purchased DayZ on Oct 11 this year. I am able to play about 10-15 minutes on average then I get kicked. I have to wait around 20 seconds then I can hop right back in and wait for the next kick. If I try to join back in straightaway it'll say something like "cannot join because there's a player with this UID already in the server" which is because it's me.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the game 3 times, verified the files in Steam 5 or so times, uninstalled MSI center and all it's bloatware, ensured the BattlEye box is checked before joining a server, and I've even reached out to BattlEye with no response other than a link to the FAQs. Lastly, I do not have any cheating software on my PC and I can run other games that use BattlEye without issue. I can also run games that use different anti-cheat software with no issue. DayZ is the only thing effected.

Hello Squigley101.
Are you using a VPN by any chance? Also, have you tried to delete the BattlEye related folders in your client and program files and then verify game data?
Regards,
Geez

Hello @Geez ,
First off, thank you for responding.
I have a VPN on my computer but it is turned off when I play.
I have not deleted the BattlEye related folders in my client and program files. Would you happen to have a text or video reference on how to accomplish said task? It sounds simple enough, but I don’t want to accidentally compromise anything.
Best,
Squigley

Hello Squigley101.
The folders are located here:
first one is located in your client installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\BattlEye
The other one is located in your program files: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye

Upon deleting these use the Steam file verification (make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled prior to doing so) and then relaunch the game.

Regards,
Geez
