cooking slots on stone oven not working

the 3 cooking slots of the stone oven can't be used. i tried with various food items. only the "smoke" slots can be used.

craft a stone oven.
try to add steaks/fruits/shrooms to the cooking slot and it will be blocked (red frame).

Stone oven works for me when trying it. Perhaps you weren't close enough?

good to know. wasnt a vanilla server, so i guess some mod breaks that.

I've noticed some weird stuff with it as well. Like i put 3 cooking pots on it and placed fat inside all the pots with steaks, 1 of the 3 will finish cooking faster than the other 2 even tho i started cooking them at the same exact time
