In the Launcher I either click on play or select the connect button to connect to a server. In both cases, a dayz instance is started but it stays black. After a while windows notifies my that dayz is not responding.

Start steam.
Login.
Double click on Dayz.
Select server in launcher.
Click connect.

Double click on Dayz.

Yesterday it was still working, today it isn't anymore.
After it stopped working I have tried to fix it by updating drivers and windows update. No change.
I have also deleted DayZ and reinstalled it.
In addition, today I have tried to start it without doing anything but waiting. After a couple of minutes the game crashes if I don't press any button and I receive another error messages.
The error which happens if I don't press any button is called "DayZReport_Log_20211111 etc.

I have done some more testing. I have tried to start dayz and selected "run dayz client". Same issues{F2564446}
I forgot to mention that I have already verified the files and reinstalled dayz. No change.

Can you please try the following?
Verify the game data through Steam and delete the configuration files when prompted to do so (Make sure Steam Cloud Sync is disabled prior to doing this) or delete the C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder manually
Open the DayZ launcher
Select PARAMETERS menu
Select ALL PARAMETERS tab
scroll down and check "Bulldozer" parameter
Launch the game
Once launched, close the game
Uncheck bulldozer
Launch the game again without any parameters

I have removedeverything afterwards again and done another test. No change.
It is working now. The bulldozer helped. The problem was the cloud synchronization was still active.
I have reread your post and was able to fix it.
I have removed all parameters, deactivated the cloud sync, deleted the folder in app data.
AFter that, I was able to start the game.
Now I have deactviated bulldozer. Everything is workong now.
Do I have to let the cloud synchronization off?

We would recommend to disable the cloud sync as it could possibly save the configuration files that were causing the problems.

hello I think I have the same problem I start the luncher its running after I hit play and it does nothing
