Spiderholes (all 3, both PAVN and VC versions) will no longer fire at enemy units unless they are practically right in front of them (10m) and even then it seems to vary. Before the update they seemed to detect enemies and engage just find but now they don't seem to be able to spot or fire at enemies.

Go to a flat location like an airfield.
Place Spiderhole and enemy unit
Preview and the spiderhole should just sit and watch
I've tried upping the skill level, individual stats and nothing seems to work. Done it in jungle and on flat terrain and still nothing.

I reported this months ago when SOGPF first released. Glad to know someone else can corroborate my findings and hope it can be looked into.
We (SGD devs) spent many hours looking into fixing this bug when it was first reported, but were not able to find a solution, probably because placing AI underground is on the limits of game engine capability.
As it works ok for players, and also works for AI in some circumstances (close range), we didn't remove the feature.
