When prompted to build shelter (hold F), the build animation happens (crouching and moving hands around), the completion wheel fills, and then nothing, the shelter does not actual appear. I've tried different placements (thinking a nearby tree might be affecting it)... no good. Please advise. Thanks.

Hello Ryuken.
The shelter can be built. However, if your character is too close during the building and the shelter would be built in the character, then the shelter will not be built. This is intended behaviour.
