I waited for the mods to be updated for a couple of hours before I could play, and the God Ray system has gone NUTS !!
It's like a giant PNG file that insta appears on screen, and insta disappears. It totally wrecks gameplay. It even appears INSIDE a cargo container, and other indoor locations where it couldn't possible appear. Changing the God Ray settings to their lowest made no difference.

Pre-patch, it was subtle, and gradually eased in and out.
