I go on any Dayz server, get kicked after 10 min.
I already tried rebooting PC and Router;
deleted BE folders from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ and Steam Game Client folders; verified game files through Steam; (as proposed by https://feedback.bistudio.com/T138786)
completely deleted Dayz from PC, deinstalled from steam (lost 83gb of mods yay) and reinstalled;
Router Firm ware is up to date;
All Dayz executables are in the firewall exceptions;
I have 1.5k hours in Dayz SA and never had this issue until this morning, and I did not change anything since last night when everything was working fine.
Event Timeline
Exactly the same problem except I have less hours than you.
Basically, everything worked forever but in the last 5-7 days, I started getting this error.
What changed??
Hello TonyMatterhorn.
Do you experience this on all servers or just a specific ones? Do you run any mods or any software that could be causing this? Have you tried to launch DayZ without any other programs running in background? (This includes programs such as MSI afterburner and similar)
Regards,
Geez
Hi Geez,
I've had this issue the whole day on friday 2nd of July. I experienced this on all servers, I tried modded, unmodded, official and community servers. I do not use programs like MSI afterburner or the infamous Cucusoft NetGuard. I've had Chrome open like I always do, thats about it. Also I did not change any of my system and software recently, prior and after experiencing the issues (Besides the things I did to troubleshoot during the issue, which I described above in "additional information"). Since Saturday, 3rd of July everything went back to normal and I can play again with no issues whatsoever.
Regards,
Tony
If it helps, or if anyone is interested, the exact same issue happened to me. However, it lasted several days around the same date and has now stopped. There was nothing I tried that worked. I wasn't willing to go to the lengths that Tony went to (above) but I would have done so if the problem had not resolved itself.
The whole experience smelled a bit like a bug which was quietly fixed in a subsequent update - either to BattelEye or DayZ.
