Ambient Audio
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

Ambient Audio seems to completely cut off unless I trigger an effect like opening/closing a door. It will then slowly die back down until it is silent again. While rain is going it audio seems to stay on until I go into a building, and then it will go silent again.

This issue did not start until after I purchased the Livonia DLC and loaded it into one of those maps servers (not sure if it's related because correlation doesn't mean causation, but figured it might help?) The audio issue did carry back over to the main map.

I've re-logged several times approximately 2 dozen (full log out closing the launcher and everything). I've tried 6-8 different servers all with the same issue.

Hello JCBBlueDevil.
Are you switching by audio devices by any chance or use some kind of bluetooth headstet that is being switched off / in between from your standard hw? Also, have you tried checking your audio drivers? Also, are you alt tabbing or switching windows often?

Geez

good afternoon,
I have a Bluetooth headset, but it is only enabled when expecting a phone call. It says that I have the most up-to-date drivers. I do frequently tab between screens but the audio is going silent when actually playing not just when tabbed to another screen.

Hello JCBBlueDevil.
Can you try to completely remove the bluetooth headset from the setup and test if that changes anything? As we are currently aware of similar issue occurring when disabling and re enabling main output device in windows, so this could be related. (If there is something set up to switch the output device from your headphones/speakers to the bluetooth headdphones when the call occurs we suggest that you also try to disable this prior testing).

Geez
