Barbed Wire Kills me MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE! 6 times in the last month...
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I build bases a lot and I use a lot of barbed wire. Barbed wire will sometimes cut you and continue to inflict cuts repeatedly, every second until you die. When this happens you can not bandage because the continuous cuts interrupt the bandaging. This happens when I am in a watchtower and brush up against the inside wall. The barbed wire starts cutting me every second until I die. This happens A LOT! I have died from it 5-6 times in the last month alone. Today, I was walking over a fire with barbed wire in my backpack and pants and it happened again. I wasn't anywhere near any installed barbed wire or walls. I was in the middle of the woods. I honestly have spent half of my game-play time starting over and getting back to my project. This single bug is so corrosive to my style of game-play, it is game breaking. What is the point of sneaking around for hours and building bases and hunting only to be killed by the same bug repeatedly?

Steps To Reproduce

Build a watchtower and install a gate at the front and install barbed wire on all four lower slots. Walking or crawling inside your watchtower, move around close to the walls. You don't even have to touch them, but that will increase the likelihood. Or, carry around barbed wire enough and for someone reason, it will eventually start repeatedly cutting you non-stop until you die.

I play on official Livonia servers via steam. No mods.
