After a fresh system reboot post 1.12 update, the game launches normally. Tried to join the same server I was on the last time I played. The 15 second countdown completed and then the game will crash. This brings me back to the Xbox home screen. This happens every time.

I’ve been playing on my server all day, updated around 11pm, with new files added.. airstikes gunracks are working, the only problem is that cars still bounce with 30+ people, I don’t get it anymore because you basically pay for a high slot server but that kills the FPS. 45+ People & the zombies break & get stuck on walls & fences.
- I’m cleaning my base out & dumped about 10 USG-45’s on the ground in the tent then the tent options disappear until I take all the guns out..

Loading another server and then back in worked for me. Extremely annoying. I had to hike far to get where I was. All of my garden plots are once again empty.

Can you also let us know where your character is on the map? And are there any bases in the vicinity? Also, if you connect to another server and back to this one, do you still experience the crash?

My character is in Polana on Livonia NY 8510. There are some old broken bases in Polana from other players. I am holding off changing servers unless I have to given the obvious disadvantages. It's not even known if changing servers is a permeant fix.

My friend is having this same issue We were playing on NY8537 his game crashed then the server restarted. Since then whenever he tries to join the server his game crashed or he loads in and can walk around for about 20 seconds then crashes and if you step on barbed wire you take infinite cuts so you die

I still crash. I can switch servers, which lets me in temporarily, then I have to deal with the position change. But it always ends up crashing again. Can we get some sort of update? Is this at least being worked on?

Same on official US MI 8686. Went to another server and came back. It worked for awhile, now it’s crashing again. Happening in the middle of nowhere. The only things nearby are a hunter tower and a helicopter spawn point.

I am getting the impression that your team is just requesting more information in an attempt to stall and ignore the issue. Several other people have reported this problem and nobody from your team has suggested a possible fix or indicated that you folks are aware and working on it.
Overall, the response from this forum has been underwhelming. I expected more.
I will confirm though, that changing servers did fix the issue for me. Naturally, I had to forfeit my position on the map.

Same is happening to me. Since the new update it will load me into the game, and after about 30 seconds it crashes me to the home screen. I am playing on the Xbox one X, the server i am on is SG 6751.
If this issue is not fixed soon you will be loosing a lot of players including myself. It is a shame as it is a great game when it works.

We have been investigating the issue thoroughly on our end and also were attempting to produce this internally. We do plan to release several fixes for this issue, the nearest one being in a hotfix that will be released as soon as everything has been tested internally to make sure the fix is ready for release.

What I have been doing to resolve the issue is turn off my Xbox and turn it back on then launch the game. I normally can load back in but this game has been crashing more often lately. This issue happens to me daily now.

I have been having this same issue since Sunday. I was playing on Livonia official (can't recall server number at the moment) and crashed back to my Xbox home screen. I've tried all the standard fixes - uninstall/reinstall, delete profile and log back in, reset DNS settings, reset router, reset console., etc. I have been in contact with MS support with no luck. I haven't been able to log on to any server since the crash, official or community. It's very frustrating to not be able to play the game, since I bought it when it was thought to be leaving GamePass. Seems now that it is staying on GamePass? But no confirmation there either. So basically I just paid $45 for a game that I already pay $15/mo for, and now I'm unable to even join a server.
