Looks like the melee system will affect raiding when using melee tools or weapons to break down gates or walls according to my test in the video. Maybe we can get a "hit point display" added in a future update to see a total HP value for a wooden gate, wooden wall, metal gate, and metal wall? That would be nice to be able to see how much damage the melee tools do, and how much more further until a section of a wall or gate is destroyed.
