Description

I understand that the server has to have a max number of items on the server to stop the degradation of the server performance. I feel that instead of a max number for each individual item on the server, a max number of items that the server can maintain would be better and that the limit of items that spawn on the server be adjusted. Eg ultra-rare items 0-1 on the server item spawn cycle rare 1-2 and so on. This way you always have a chance to find items and they don't disappear when the max number of that item is on the server. If someone wants 40 VSS's what is the problem? they took the time to find them. Nothing should disappear, just get harder to find. Also not sure why items in containers are counted? Surely you could just have the container as a server item and the contents managed in a different folder and accessed by the server when that container is interacted with? that way it should not slow the server down to much.

Yeah, counting items in player containers (crates, barrels) also pisses me off. Like i can gather 10 AK's on different servers, bring all of them to one, and just paralyze AK spawning there. Sounds ridiculous. There should be mechanic like gradual deterioration of weapons when they are stashed. Like losing on level of durability per day. Then people will be obliged to repair it, and then will repair only weapon that they really use, and not just store bunch of guns somewhere, preventing them from spawn.
