DayZ FPS getting stuck
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

I have always played DayZ on extreme video settings, were my FPS would be 100+. But tonight I wanted to try out the Poor setting. Turns out that I didn't enjoy it that much, and then when I switched over to the extreme video setting, my FPS cap was on 38-40.

I have tried to verify game files, and restart pc and game, nothing had helped. I have then searched this issue up on youtube, and found a comment section with people having the same problem as me, going back as far as 1 year ago, but no one finding a fix for this issue.

At the moment, I am playing on the High video settings, but it's just not the same as the extreme one, and kinda kills the experience.

This is the PC that I have, and the specs; https://sharkgaming.dk/white-shark-massacre-gaming-pc

If you don't know the cause for the issue, please let me know, what the most optimal video settings I can have, for having both a great FPS and gameplay experience.

Hello Olaie.
Please try to delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder (make sure Steam Cloud Sync is disabled before starting the game upon doing so) and then change the default settings to your preferred settings again.
Regards,
Geez
