Put matches in hand, hold LMB to IGNIITE. The character goes through the requisite animation, and you get the correct sounds of a fire starting, but at the end of the animation nothing happens (except you lose a match from the box)

I have only tries this inside the SHORT variant of the standard DayZ long barn. This is the dark brown wooden one. Google suggested logging off and on again. But this did not fix it for me.
