When fire is lit in the wood burning stove added in 1.08 experimental servers, it normally doesnt light up the house because you can close the door. But if you start to walk away from the house, im assuming the interior render distance causes the entire house to light up as if a fire was lit in the middle of the room, exposing your position to other players.
