Description

So i bought the game a couple weeks ago for PC. Everything was working great. I was playing on a modded "double tap" server. The server restarted and booted me, like has happened many times before. Only this time when I tried to relog the screen goes black and after about a minute or two, it crashes back to desktop AND crashes my steam client. No changes were made prior to the server restart.

I have tried literally EVERYTHING. I reinstalled the game and all mods 3 times. I have tried logging into regular vanilla DayZ servers, with no luck.

I even tried downloading DayZ Experimental. Experimental works and loads in just fine. I really would like a solution to this.

Hello keichler.
Please try the following:
Navigate in to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\*ID of your account*\, then delete the 221100 folder (note: this will remove all the characters in your main menu - it is possible that the modded character has broke something and the game cannot load now).

Once done, delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder and verify the game data through Steam.
