Had constant problems yesterday with what appeared to be bugged mags. When I tried to reload them, the action circle would briefly appear, but nothing would happen. Had to relog to fix it.

The issue is not bugged mags, though. It’s a disconnect between what you see in your hands, and what’s actually in your hands. This is a big issue that has been causing problems for a while.

Soon after, I had the same problem with another mag. I couldn’t be bothered to relog again, so just threw it away. A couple minutes later, I was holding an MP5 when I got my knife out to fight zombies. My friend told me that someone was shooting, but I couldn’t hear it. Obviously, we realised that I was the one shooting, as my friend said I still had the MP5 in my hands. On my screen, I was holding a knife, and my attacks had no effect on the zombies.

This is a severe bug. I recently saw a clip of a streamer who was shooting zombies but the bullets had no effect. I imagine, he was having the same issue, He uninstalled DayZ live on stream after that. Not the best marketing for the game.

Having to relog every time you encounter problems with mags, etc, is not ideal. Some servers have huge queues, and a simple relog could take half an hour. In my case, I would have had to relog twice in 20 minutes. It’s a game breaker.

I imagine this kind of issue has been reported many
times, but it’s such a nuanced problem, that I couldn’t find a specific report.

Hoping that anyone can shed some light on the status of this bug, though.
