Any helicopter crashes games in any scenario
New, NormalPublic

Description

After downloading https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1997001841 (as well required mod) and playing around with it to test it out for a pilot friend. I've had issues of game insta crashing, 0xC00000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION is the code. I've completed all the steps that they recommend, launched the game in administrator, checked my memory sticks for problems, uninstalled arma and all mods and redownloaded it, and im still having this problem. I've included 2 reports of these crashes and the modpack that I was running when this problem started. Any ideas would be helpful.
FIX? Bumping up the sys mem allocation in the parameters to something 1/3 to half of your memory seems to have fixed the issues caused by whatever in the hell caused it.

Get in a helicopter and start it up, crashes after. No idea how I got to this point past downloading those two mods.

Having the same issue.

Never installed anything thing new, arma had been working fine up to this point, just logged on today and this issue started happening. Did all the recommended troubleshooting nothing helped. It crashes every time i get in a helicopter with the error code 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.

What pisses me off the most is I had done absolutely nothing to modify Arma or any of its gamefiles, i just opened it up and somehow this randomly started happening.

Wifi, I seemed to fix it via increasing the sys mem limit in the parameter and changing the mem allocation. Idk what caused it but im guessing it due to the shift from a sitting vic to a vic that has possible motion? idk just pulling this out of my ass.

Hello.

If the crash is caused by a mod and happens only with the mod, then I am afraid we can't do much about it on our end. Please contact the creator of the mod so that he can fix it.
