Dropping items on the ground when sharing with other players feels a bit silly, it would be a nice feature if you could hold up whatever item held in the character's hands which would make it lootable for other players (with F). This action would logically be on the Emote Wheel with no keybind by default (to avoid accidentally offering your FAL to some random dude).

Shameless bump to this old suggestion. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle - no new animation required, just use the regular “raised item” (for throwing) hands movement. Would be a nice little addition for RP.
