Car broke down so I left to grab some oil and water came back and it was gone. No less than 5 minutes. Car was inoperable.

@drebin365 When a cars engine is ruined, it cannot be repaired and thus the car is being treated as a ruined item, which despawn fairly quickly. So the behaviour you witnessed is intended.
