If you delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ Exp and C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folders and also the following file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_221100.acf , do you still experience this problem? Also, please make sure that your Steam cloud sync for DayZ is disabled before doing so and verify the game data through Steam once the appmanifest file is removed.
