Description

This is a form to report an issueI had a problem launching the game.

the game worked fine, but at one point I was waiting for the restart server in the main menu and, when I tried to restart, it threw me out without any error.

after that I can’t enter the game. when I start, I see a black screen, and in the task manager, the application stops responding, and begins to eat up all available RAM.

I tried:

  1. reinstall the game
  2. reinstall Windows and all drivers with full formatting of the system disk
  3. run the game with and without mods. delete all mods.
  4. Remove the game and all mods, run without installing mods. same problem

None of this helped, the game continues to freeze at startup, eat up all the RAM, and then Windows kills the application due to lack of memory.

I have win10pro, ryzen 1800x, nvidia 1070, 16b ddr4

help solve the problem.

I don’t know how to repeat the problem that occurred to me.

steps that led to the problem:

  1. I played on a server with mods
  2. the server went to restart
  3. I was waiting in the main restart menu
  4. the server restarted, I started to connect
  5. threw out of the game without error. I tried to go in and could not

i find solution for this problem^

  1. so for this problem you should delete DayZ folder in your document and appData>Local (Hidden Folders) in your Computer Personal Folder.
  2. go to steam menu and download DayZ Experimental and install it.
  3. Run DayZ Experimental (you will see DayZ Experimental is working fine!!!).
  4. in the game menu (DayZ Experimental) create one character with any name as you want.
  5. go to servers tab and join any Official Server as you want.
  6. when loading is finished and you see your character, then you can log off from game and exit.
  7. go to your document folder again.
  8. you should have new folder (DayZ Exp) name or (DayZ Experimental). go to that folder.
  9. you should have 7 items.
  10. Rename The DayZ Exp.cfg to DayZ.cfg
  11. Rename the stats.DayZ Exp.json to stats.DayZ.json
  12. Select All 7 items and copy.
  13. go back to Your Document Folder and make one new folder and rename it To DayZ
  14. paste all of items in the your DayZ folder you created.
  15. everything is finished you can play DayZ again right now.
