The way footwear works now, we can still encounter moments when we are stranded in the middle of nowhere will bleeding feet.

It would be nice if we were able to craft emergency footwear to mitigate this.

Wearing rags and duct tape around our feet, for example. The durability would have to be low, of course.

This would be more satisfying, than having to stop to bandage every minute.

You could also add small footwear like sandles/flip flops. They would take up minimum inventory slots, but could be worn in an emergency..
