After cooking (campfire or gas stove) temperature goes to red. Temperature goes to yellow after removing jacket, and goes to white after removing pants. When putting clothing back on temperature returns to red. This is with a variety of food and a variety of clothing. Drenching clothes seems to make no difference.

@JonDoug Were you putting the cooked meat in your shirt or pants? Warm meat will overheat you if you put it in your clothing. You have to put it in your backpack.
