While playing on TRMZ EU server I hit R to reload my FNX, the animation began and was interrupted, which gave me ghost bullets. See the clip below. Hope this helps!

I haven't tried to reproduce it but I've heard before that the R to reload feature is what causes it.

I had a similar instance on 1.05 exp where a zombie punched me and it gave me ghost bullets too.
also not sure about the R to reload but T143862 you can read a lot there too

I can confirm ghost bullets and magazien reload problems and magazine extraction problems. since last dayz update!
everything worked before the last update!!!
