for Explanation i'm not using WASD ... i play RDFG so mostly all keys are moved for 2 to the right... and my Nightvision / Flashlight is bound to "N".
Hope that's easier to understand now.

it's like using the chat ( it doesn't matter if community, Stable, Official or experimental ) and while typing "Hello ... behi"N" you!" the "N" makes my Flashlight go on or off when its already turned on.

So in my thoughts the Chat is passing by all keys and not only typing the Letter N in chatbox also switching it off/on.

So this would mean that if i Type "nnnnnn n n n n n n nnnnnn" i would do a S.O.S. Morse Code without wanting it and reveal my Location by mistake / buggy feature.

This also occurs on a Modded Community Server with the DayZ-Expansion-Chat and even deleting those DayZ Folder oder DayZ Exp under Documents won't work or didn't fix that in the last Months.

Does this concern weapon flashlights / flashlights that are wielded in hands, or does this only affect the head torch?

Hi Geez,

i just tested again ... its only with the universal Flashlight on the Helmet and the head torch ( everything which is activated by that special key ).
If u hold it in hands u need to activate by left mouse.
