Throwing is still kind of glitched. Items still disappear occasionally, and very often aren’t able to be picked up by hand. It IS still possible to get the item via the vicinity though, so it’s not too bad,

Steps To Reproduce
Throw an item, eventually you won’t be able to pick it up by hand. You can only use the vicinity menu. Sometimes it will disappear too, but you can still see it in vicinity.
