Been on a couple of servers now that suffer from large amounts of desync when approaching people's bases (from around 1300-1100 meters away. Usually occurs more often when larger bases are present in towns. Biggest problem is when travelling around the map in a car and the desync makers the car crash breaks the car :( Have lost 4 or 5 cars on the server I play on to desync when travelling around the map as it's not always possible to predict where people have built new bases. End up having to drive so slowly it's now quicker to walk/run. Plus have got bored of going to constantly find new cars... Can be driving at around 20kph then hit the desync/lag in and end up going 50kph after the desync has finished and often veering off the road - even if hitting S to stop. Desync still happens exactly the same when travelling on foot, but at least there's no chance of crashing! Actually considering taking a break from DayZ until this is fixed as cars are now becoming a more integral part of the game, especially on modded servers.
