The workbench does not let you close a file that is open. This is in the main workspace of the program, not in the script editor. The close button on the open file tab does not function. This is annoying when for example you made changes outside of workshop to a .layout and want to reload the changes - the file never actually closes and the previous content is still available. Even if you open another file, replacing the current open file and go back it does not reload the new content.
