i came across the following scene:
a goat was sitting on a roof, chased by zeds.
the goat jumped from roof without proper animation. the whole thing took about 2secs.
But the moment that goat hit the ground it was immediately teleported back to the roof. i watched this scene rinsing and repeating for a whole minute, no rubber banding or anything going on. also the zeds seemed to move naturally. reminded me of groundhog day...

don't know exactly what happened here but it looked like an issue with the animal and it's pathfinding or something between client/server communication or states..
