I spent about 45 minutes collecting the materials to build a watchtower. I placed the watchtower kit on the ground in the dirt and on the concrete. I added four wooden logs to the watchtower kit. I used a shovel to try building up the first floor. Neither location allowed me to build the watchtower.

- Observe there is no prompt to build the watchtower
- Move the watchtower kit onto a patch of dirt
- Equip the shovel
- Observe you are given the prompt to make a garden plot or to dig up worms
- Add the four wooden logs to the watchtower kit
- Attempt to build the watchtower
- Observe there is no prompt to perform the build action

It is possible. Try standing directly over the logs and moving around, looking straight down. I got the prompt to pop up like that.
Suggestion for devs: The area that the popup should appear should be larger though, perhaps when the cursor is within the corners of the kit?

Yeah this can be closed. The problem was that the proxy for constructing the base was too small.
