start power generator
plug power cord into power generator
plug xmas lights into power cord
press g to drop lights
install lights on car tent
look at lights through pu scope
lights inside scope sight are lit and lights outside scope sight are not lit

when I get closer they do look lit
it's just the blur from a distance makes them look not lit
