DayZ Tools Issue
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When editing "Launcher.bat" in \DayZ Tools\Bin\Launcher\ to open DayZToolsLauncher, exe, it works via steam, etc. But there are a few bugs with it:

  1. You cannot launch Addon Builder via the tools, it flashes a command prompt and nothing happens.
  2. When you launch Object Builder, it instantly crashes (launching the .exe works perfectly)
  3. Under the "Status" part at the bottom, it says that the workdrive isn't mounted, and when i hover over it, it says it isn't mounted to the correct drive. (https://i.imgur.com/AIQKv5X.png)
  4. When pressing the "Terrain Processor" button, it loads for a second, but nothing appears.
  5. Under Settings at the top, the "Workbench" and "Buldozer" sections are blank

Steps To Reproduce

After you have changed your .bat file, you just need to follow 1 of the 5 steps i have listed above in order to reproduce the issues!

Additional Information

I know this tool isn't 'ready for release' yet, or it'd already be live without editing the .bat file. I just wanted to quickly provide some feedback for Tom so he knows what is/isn't broken with it!

Hope this helps, thanks!

Hello and thanks for the report.

1/2/4/ I've tried with a few computers and I'm unable to reproduce the issue. Can you, please, attach the logs from the launcher? (View >> Tools Logs)
3/ This one has been fixed.
5/ These tabs aren't ready and weren't supposed to be visible. They will be hidden on the next update.

(yes, it helps!)

Hey the log files are around 1,000 lines each so i just isolated the logs that matter! - https://pastebin.com/raw/PPULk0Rf

Everything should be fixed on the next update, let me know if that's not the case.
