This is a form to report an issue from the PC VERSION of the game - for Xbox issues use the "New DayZ Xbox Bug Report" form (delete this prior to creating the ticket)

when you start the game the sound is very choppy. the screens draw very slowly. when I click on the wrench in upper right corner the program closes.

when I click on the wrench in upper right corner of the main menu the program closes.
this new version runs so slow cant play game
if I press play from the main menu then in the game press esc and choose settings the program closes here too.

when this new version was loaded and I tried to play the game it was so slow I went into settings to adjust thing down. because of the slowness I press the default settings button by mistake and from that point on I'm not able to get back into setting to change anything.

Additional Information

I uninstalled the program and choose to delete files and logs. i kept the firewall settings
then re-downloaded the program and reinstalled. still same issue
the program was running good on the last version
current version : 0.63.149525

Yes going to options from main menu, or in game crashes everytime for me too. Never happened before this update. I'm also on windows 10. I deleted the documents folder and checked integrity in steam but the same thing happens everytime now. No way to change options.

How long does it usually take till someone looks at these and get assigned to someone? I can't play the game without changing some settings first,and this makes it unplayable for me.....

It could take sometime depending on how many people it's affecting it. The devs really have their hands full with bugs from switching engines and incorporating new/old features in the new engine I would really call it an alpha not so much a beta. I feel for your frustration though but this whole 0.63 is/was a big switch. Also a fix would come in an update if it's not something that can be remedied immediately. However since the move to the new engine and the xbox build they have been releasing updates pretty rapidly compared to previous years so you should hear something soon, don't give up hope.

Is their a way someone could take a config file and make all setting to the lowest settings and then we copy and replace our's with this file to make us able to get into setting area. I really think because my setting are set to high [to much detail] that It causes it to crash. Or maybe tell me how to go behind the scenes and change the setting manually???

I havent tried this but im sure it would work. Search google for dayz.cfg its in your documents/dayz folder. You can find the resolution and other commands on google most are the same as arma2 dayz and all those games. Just copy past them into your dayz.cfg folder. You cant really mess it up,if u do you can just delete it and the game will make a default one again.

Hope it helps.... You'll find dayz.cfg in your Documents/Dayz folder. Just open it with notepad and copy that crap in there.... I wouldn't mess with the fov settings, Im pretty sure they've changed that crap, I haven't tried yet.

2 weeks later,still not assigned to anyone? Why have bug reports if you do nothing about them? Still happening on stable and exp for me

I agree, No one will continue to use these area if nothing is being accomplished!
