  1. Find a player and begin speaking face-to-face
  2. Turn around 180 degrees
  3. Note that you can no longer hear the other player

This is game-breaking and encourages people to use Discord for voice chat.

Are you using 7.1 or 5.1 headset by any chance?

This is a known issue related to the 7.1 and 5.1 headsets and it is scheduled for a fix.

This seems to have been fixed with the last update to the stable branch.
