I load the game from STEAM. In the main menu I click on PLAY (to continue with my last character on the last server), the grey load screen appears, the game crashes.

Your crash dump and log files are stored in %localappdata%\DayZ\ and all you need to do is add the log and dump from your crash to a compressed zip archive, then drag and drop it on the text editor here.
