I have this bug since the release of the first engine update:
when i zoom in and then start running it still zooms,
None of my friends are able to do this so I think it is a bug.

Hello murkoner.
Currently there is an issue with the zoom x sprint feature inconsistency. It is possible to start sprinting from the zoomed mode, but it is not possible to zoom in while sprinting. Since you mentioned your friends are unable to use the zoom while sprinting, are they zooming prior to starting to sprint (as you do according to the steps you have provided) or after they have started to sprint?

they tried both and in no case they could sprint and zoom at the same time. I can only sprint and zoom at the same time when I zoom prior to sprint.

Thank you for the update.
If you remove the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder, does your game still behave differently than the game of your friends? Either way, the issue should not be present once the inconsistency issue with the sprinting and zoom is fixed.

yes removing the content changed the behavior of the game. It now works like intended and i it zoomes out when i start sprinting.
