I have DayZ installed on steam. Whenever I launch the game it goes to the black screen with the Dayz logo on it then crashes to the desktop. The game was working fine about 5 days ago.

Steps To Reproduce
- Launch from steam.
- The black screen with the Dayz logo comes up.
- about 10 seconds go by and the game closes itself and I am brought back to desktop
- Cry in the fetal position for 2 hours and wonder what has my life come to.

Can you try the following and let us know if that has any effect on the issue?
- Update your game to experimental
- Join experimental server
- Leave the experimental server
- Update back to 0.62 version (Stable)
Also, if you have Steam cloud sync enabled, please try to disable it.
