Vehicles on shipboard are shown as air targets on radar
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

When vehicle is placed aboard on USS Destroyer, it is marked on radar with a triangle for aircraft instead of square for ground target. Therefore, these static not-flying targets can not be engaged with ATGM missiles.
Might be related to that sign on radar depends on altitude AGL instead of AGLS, so destroyer isn't taken int.o account.

Hello.

Thank you for the report. It is true that the icon on our sensors shows an aircraft and we will look into that. However you are able to lock onto the target with ATGM rockets. The vehicle needs to have engine running for the rocket to lock on.
